The Fridge Module is an essential piece for day trips, camping, and overlanding. It installs easily and provides a secure, easy-to-access compartment for your fridge.

The sturdy aluminum frame and reinforced side panels help you organise space in the vehicle and keep everything secured and rattle-free, even on rough terrain.

A locking mechanism keeps the platform from moving or closing when you need your fridge open on uneven surfaces.

It features the same slide and tray used in our Fridge Slide.

It accommodates most 50 L fridges (or smaller). See Specs for sizes and FAQ for examples.

Production time: 21–28 days. Add 4 extra weeks for black version.

Anchoring

Notes

You can mount the fridge module on its own with anchors and straps or bolt it onto one of our base systems which bolts into your vehicle.

JLU, New Defender owners: Because the Jeep JLU's trunk is narrower and shorter than the Jeep JKU and the New Defender 110 is narrow by design, we redesigned the modules and adjusted platform dimensions (see details). Depending on your configuration, the correct width will be assigned for production.

4XE, Suzuki Jimny owners: We mount 600 mm slides due to limited trunk space. Max extension is about 570 mm. If the edge of your fridge lid sits further than 570 mm from the front of the tray, the hatch may not fully open.

FAQ

Which fridges can I fit into this module?
Standard tray examples: Engel MT35 V-Series; tall ~50 L Alpicool styles.
Reversed tray examples: Dometic CFX/CFX3 45 L and smaller; ARB 37 L; Engel MR040.

My fridge is longer than the tray—can I still fit it?
Yes. Ignore handle length; the tray is open at the back to accept longer fridges. Ensure the lid can clear the module’s upper frame when opening.

My fridge has a sideways-opening lid—will it open fully?
Slides are full-extension. On 4XE and Jimny the shorter slides extend ~570 mm; if your lid edge is behind that distance, it may not fully open.

Does the fridge module come assembled?
Yes, it ships fully assembled with the necessary installation kit.

How can I use the top of the module?
The top surface can store additional gear and holds up to 100 kg. The panel sits slightly lower than the contour to help keep bags and boxes from moving.

Can I connect this module to other Tailgate Gear modules?
Yes. Our modules are stackable and can be connected as combos. If you already own a module, request a connecting kit in your order notes.

Do you customize sizes?
Yes. Custom builds are available; additional charges and longer lead times may apply.

How can I check if the module fits in my vehicle?
Match your cargo area to the external dimensions above and account for seat incline if mounting near the rear seats.
